Optimark Fiber Optics stocks a variety of popular styles of fiber optic connector and adapter dust caps. The picture at the left shows the dust caps we stock, and their associated part numbers. For all other dust caps, please contact us concerning availability.

Please be aware that dust caps which make contact with the connector ferrule often are responsible for transferring dust and debris to the ferrule. Non-contact dust caps are far preferable. All of our dust caps, with one exception, make no contact with the ferrule.

We carry two special designs for LC connectors and adapters.
The LC connector dust cap snaps onto the connector end without making contact with the ferrule, thereby keeping the ferrule endface clean and ready for mating with another ferrule through an adapter.
The LC adapter seals the the ferrule tube without making contact with the tube itself, thereby preventing contamination.
