The OPTIPOP was, historically, the second cassette-style fiber optic connector cleaner made available to the public, with the "Classic" CLETOP being the first. Like the CLETOP, the OPTIPOP is manufactured by NTT-AT. The cleaning process is similar to that of the CLETOP, i.e. a woven polyester fabric is used to remove dirt, oils, and other contaminants from ferrule endfaces. Like the CLETOP-S, the cleaning tape in the OPTIPOP is advanced and the cleaning window opened by depressing a single large button.
The OPTIPOP is available in several versions, depending on the types of connectors which need to be cleaned:
 
ATC-RE-01: Single slot, being used with an ST connector (left) and an MTP female connector (right). Good for multi-fiber female ferrules, as well as for 2.5 mm and 1.25 ferrules in general.
ATC-RE-02: Dual-slot, being used with duplex LC connector. Also good for 2.5 mm ferrules.
ATC-RE-03: Single slot with bridge, for MPO male connectors.
ATC-RE-03W: Single slot with bridge, for OptiTap male connectors.
ATC-RE-04: Single slot with bridge, for MTRJ male connectors.
