The HSTC-2001 gives a perpendicular
cleave for 125µm diameter SM, MM and PM fiber to within 0.5° from the
perpendicular suitable for splicing or pigtailing to photonic
components. The cleaver clamps the coating of the fiber avoiding damage
and giving a high strength cleave. It achieves a minimum cleave length
as short as 2mm and is very simple to use.
Features:
- Detachable clip for high-strength low-contact cleaving - Square fiber end; average angle < 0.5 degrees
- High reliability cleaving
- Cleaves singlemode, multimode and PM optical fiber
- Easy to use with "stapler" action - 250µm
coating clip supplied as standard
Benefits:
- Performance: Average
cleave angle < 0.5 degrees
- Reliability: 99%
of cleave angles < 1.0 degrees
- High strength: Low-contact
cleaving for high reliability components
- Long Lifetime: Multi-position
diamond blade
